Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park

DOVE LAKE CIRCUT

Just a 2 or 3 hour round trip walk from the Dove Lake car park.  The walk is relatively easy and is board walked most of the way.  Normal walking shoes only are needed.  The walk takes on completely different moods depending on the time of the day the walk is commenced and what season the walk is taken.  An excellent introduction to the beauty that is to be encountered in the whole park and the nearby Walls of Jerusalem National Park.  Near the bottom of the mountain the track passes through a typical Tasmanian rain forest.
