West Coast
Wilderness Railway
commences in Queenstown and continues through to Strahan.
The train leaves twice a day. The rail passes through the unique ABT rack
& pinion section through Riadeena .
The West
Coast Wilderness railway station and the Empire Hotel dominate the
Queenstown streetscape. The railway station is a masterpiece itself -
beautifully fitted out in Tasmanian timbers.
