The Cascade River below the Mt Paris Dam. The dam was built in 1937
and was connected by an 11 Km water race with the Mt Paris Mine. The
dam has remained empty since 1970. It is 250 metres long and up to 16
metres high. It is just a few hundred metres off the Mt Paris Dam road
about 8 kilometres from Weldborough.
