WILMOT

The Road to Cradle

One of the roads to Cradle Mountain is from the town of Forth, just west of Devonport on the old Bass Highway.

The road passes through typical North West lush country scenery.  A small piece of history is at Wilmot.

G J Coles, the pioneer of the budget chain stores in Australia, lived here and opened his first store in the town.

FORTH FALLS are found below Wilmot by Lake Barrington.
