Narcissus Bay

LAKE ST CLAIR

Narcissus Bay is at the northern end of Lake St Clair.  A ferry service operates from the visitors centre at Cynthia Bay on the southern shore of the lake to Narcissus Bay.

The ferry provides transport for walkers on the Overland Track from Cradle Mountain 80 kilometres to the north.  The trip saves the need to walk the last leg by Lake St Clair.

The ferry operates twice daily with an additional scenic trip at 3Pm daily.  The service is seasonal and subject to numbers.  Check before using the service.

LAKE StCLAIR LODGE FERRY

A very highly recommended trip.  We will try and take this trip when the mountains are under snow.

The ferry's scenic cruise stops at Echo Point not far from Narcissus Bay.  A beautiful rainforest and an old historic hut.

Walled Mountain, The Acropolis and Falling Mountain from Narcissus Bay.
