A 45 minute drive south of Launceston on the Midland Highway is Campbell Town. The town is one of only two major towns which have not been by passed. Perth is the other.

Campbell Town is well serviced with cafes and restaurants along with many boutique shops. Being half way between Hobart and the North West Coast it is a very popular place to stop.
