FRIENDLY BEACHES

There are two options to take in the perfect views of Wineglass Bay on Tasmania's East Coast.  One is from considerably lower than this view about 3/4 hour walk from the car park at Coles Bay.  The other is from the top of Mt Amos, a very strenuous 1 3/4 hour walk (one way) basically straight up hill across and around boulders.  All you want to do when you get there is sit and look at the view.

Good rubber soled shoes are required on the track to Mt Amos.  It is dangerous, particularly when wet.  The track to the lower lookout is easier and normal street shoes suffice.
