NOTE: The Westmoreland
Falls track was washed away after 30cm of rain fell on the slopes of The
Great Western Tiers in a few hours on 14th January 2011.

A Parks and Wildlife
representative at Mole Creek advised that the track along the stream has
been completely destroyed from about 150 metres below the main falls.
After visiting the area it
is clear that the track is unlikely to be re-opened in the medium to
long term. The damage is so extensive. The falls and cascades shown on
the previous page are still there - but now not accessible.
