The walk from the start of the track to the trappers hut passes
thorough dry eucalypt forest including Wattle, Mountain Berry and Waratah. The climb takes
about an hour. After another 1/2 hour the going is fairly level with
Solomon's Jewels reached another 15 minutes further.
