The picture above was taken on the evening of the 22nd June 2001.  The sky around St Georges Bay, St Helen's turned a deep red providing a spectacular sunset.  They are taken from just a short distance along the St Helen's Point road looking towards the Bay of Fires.

The pictures above were also taken just a few minutes apart on the evening of the 28th June 2002.  A single cloud provided a spectacular sight in the western sky.  They are taken from the esplanade and just near Kings Bridge in St Helen's.
