WELDBOROUGH PASS, MUTUAL VALLEY, MT PARIS DAM THE BLUE TIER, LEHNERS RIDGE, ANCHOR ROAD MT VICTORIA, PYENGANA, ST COLUMBA FALLS MINING MUSEUM AND SHANTY TOWN, HISTORIC TOWN

The rich farming valley around Pyengana is well worth a visit for an afternoon or more. St Columba Falls are Tasmania's highest and a short 10 or 15 minutes drive from the main highway.  The 15 minute descent into the forest is a delight.  Along the way is the Pynegana cheese factory and "The Pub in the Paddock" with Pricilla, the beer drinking pig!

Fern glades decorate the walk. A good sealed road through a fine rainforest..
