The rich farming valley around Pyengana is well worth a visit for an afternoon or more. St Columba Falls are Tasmania's highest and a short 10 or 15 minutes drive from the main highway.  The 15 minute descent into the forest is a delight.  Along the way is the Pynegana cheese factory and "The Pub in the Paddock" with Pricilla, the beer drinking pig!

Fern glades decorate the walk. A good sealed road through a fine rainforest..
