The
rich farming valley around Pyengana is well worth a visit for an afternoon
or more. St Columba Falls are Tasmania's highest and a short 10 or 15
minutes drive from the main highway. The 15 minute walk to the base of
the falls is a delight. Along the way are the Pynegana cheese factory
and "The Pub in the Paddock" with Pricilla, the beer drinking pig!
