The Penguin to Cradle Trail

A series of walking tracks allows for a walk from Penguin to Cradle Mountain.  Areas visited include the Dial Range just behind Penguin and Gunns Plains where there is a limestone cave open to the public.  Further south the track passes through the Leven Canyon and further on to the Black Bluff.  From Black Bluff the track continues across the top of Winterbrook Falls, on past Lake Lea and through the Vale of Belvoir.  The track crosses the Cradle Mt link road and continues past Mt Beecroft and areas known as Heaps of Rocks and the Fourways.  There is a diversion near Fourways to Reynolds Falls on the Vale River.  The track then continues on to Pencil Pine at the entrance to the Cradle Mt - Lake St Clair National Park.
