The Penguin to Cradle Trail LEVEN CANYON
Leven Canyon in minor flood from the viewing platform. Just a short 15 minute walk from the main car park. The path is an easy but steady uphill climb. Street shoes only are needed.
LEFT: Viewing platform. RIGHT: Bridge across the river at the floor of the canyon. Access is a kilometre upstream. The track passes beside the paddock in the top picture. Only 10 minutes from the road. Beyond the bridge the track is recommended for experienced bush walkers only.
