The Road to Cradle

KIMBERLEY

Then travelling to Cradle Mountain from Launceston, the shortest way is to turn off the Bass Highway just before Elizabeth Town, 10 kilometres past Deloraine.  The drive passes through picturesque rich farmland.  Another turnoff needs to be taken at the  small town of Kimberley where the road crosses the Mersey River.  There is a thermal spring at Kimberley. There is a BBQ area nearby.  Also, 2 kilometres from Kimberley on the eastern side are the Villarette Gardens and tea rooms.
