WET CAVE RESERVE - MOLE CREEK

The Great Western Tiers

Honeycombe Caves

Honeycombe Caves are part of the Wet Caves Reserve. the reserve is about 6 kilometres south of Mole Creek on the Caveside road. On reaching a T junction Wet Caves Road heads right.

The reserve comprises a large grassed area. Just inside the gate a creek is found on the right. The creek runs into the caves. There is a slightly awkward access down into the cave. There are further access points a few hundred metres downstream.

The Wet Cave is further upstream. Although there is little problem entering Honeycombe Cave at the entrance to the reserve experienced cavers only should explore any of these caves.
