HOLWELL GORGE

Just a few kilometres west of Beaconsfield this beautiful fern laden gorge is an excellent 1 1/2 hour walk (one way).  There are basic picnic facilities at the eastern entrance.  The track is a hiking track and is awkward in places.  Like Notley Gorge, the walk out is moderately strenuous, particularly the western end.

A 15 minute walk from either end takes you to waterfalls.

From the top of falls at the western end of the gorge.  Again only 10 minutes from the car park.
