A few kilometres before reaching Hastings Caves a road to Duckhole Lake heads off to the east.  Care needs to be taken on this road. There are many roads in this area and a map is recommended. (More to come). 10 kilometres along the road Creekton Rivulet is reached. Across the bridge to the left is the start of the track to Duckhole Lake. A flat mainly duck boarded track, the lake is reached in about 30 minutes. A beautiful rainforest walk.

Shortly before Duckhole Lake track there is a well signposted diversion to Denny's Lookout.
