The Far North West DIP FALLS Ten kilometres east of the Stanley turn off is a road heading south to the Dip River Forest reserve. The Dip Falls are 26 kilometres from the junction on a good sealed road apart for the last few kilometres which is gravel. A car park by the road is virtually on top of the falls. There are well appointed picnic and rest room facilities - no power. A steep set of steps descends to the bottom of these imposing falls. There are some interesting very short walks in the area. The picture below on the right was taken after heavy rain. It took a 'bush bash' to the bottom of the gorge on the southern side of the falls. The viewing platform is on the top right.
