The town of Penguin is nestled on the coast
beneath the Dial Range. There are numerous drives and walking tracks through
the range which includes the start of the Penguin to Cradle walking trail.
Shown here is a short walk to
Mt Gnomon as
well as a fine forest walk at Ferndene. The Ferndene walk includes a
small mining tunnel - Thorsby's Tunnel.
