BAY OF FIRES CONSERVATION AREA

10 kilometres north east of St Helen's is the popular beachside resort of Binalong Bay.  There is a shop at Binalong Bay where fuel is also available.  The coastal area for about 30 kilometres to the north is known as the Bay of Fires Conservation Area.  A road extends along the coastline for about 15 kilometres past another beachside hamlet of The Gardens.  The area has numerous camping areas and is very popular in the summer.
