Coles Bay is a holiday village at the northern end of
Freycinet National Park. There is a tavern, caravan park, bakery, takeaway
shops and plenty of other accommodation and camping grounds in the area.
There is a golf course at nearby Swanwick. Under 2 hours drive from Launceston and about 1/2 an hour from Bicheno and
3/4 of an hour from Swansea. We arrived to find a white bellied sea eagle
perched in a tree by the bay.
