CARR VILLA

Carr Villa is just near the entrance to Ben Lomond National Park a kilometre off the Ski Village road. There is a track commencing here which continues to the Ben Lomond ski village. It is essentially a summer 'wildflower' walk. However, on a fine and sunny winters day after a snowfall, the walk to the edge of the plateau is a beautiful walk.

ABOVE: A few hundred metres from the car park. The snow covered track is easy going. The snow was soft and quite deep near the top. Care needed to be taken not to step into a stream if water under the snow. TOP RIGHT: This is Jack Carrington from Melbourne. Jack is 2 1/2 and this is his first snowman.
